The premises of the Riga Municipality institution “Culture and Folk Art Centre ‘Mazā Ģilde’” are partially adapted to meet accessibility requirements for public buildings.
Individuals with mobility impairments and wheelchair users can access the Great Hall at “Mazā Ģilde” (Amatu Street 5) by using an elevator.
To enter the building and reach the elevator, a wheelchair must be lifted up 5 steps.
To reach the Bellacord Hall and the Small Hall, one must enter the premises,
where a wheelchair must be lifted up 5 steps (Figure 1), and an additional 2 steps must also be navigated (Figure 2).
We have a portable ramp available, which makes it easier to navigate the two steps leading to the elevator that goes to the Main Hall,
provided you enter the premises via the “service entrance” located next to the waste container (Image 3).
Individuals with mobility impairments and wheelchair users are unable to access the rehearsal rooms at the Mazā ģilde (Amatu Street 3).
